Dr. Kaz is the owner and founder of Anasa Personalized Medicine® and is excited to be practicing naturopathic medicine in her home state of Rhode Island. Dr. Kaz is a licensed Naturopathic Physician, Clinical Nutritionist, Reiki Master and Craniosacral Therapy Level 1 practitioner. She completed her education at the University of Bridgeport where she received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master's degree in Nutrition. Previous to that, she graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science. 


Dr. Kaz is passionate about supporting the expansion of Naturopathic medicine and serves as the President of the Rhode Island Association of Naturopathic Physicians (RIANP) and is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).


Dr. Kaz is dedicated to improving people’s health. She sees patients with a variety of health concerns including digestive disorders, cardiovascular dysfunction, thyroid disorders, diabetes, Lyme disease, arthritis and many more. She addresses these conditions through herbal medicine, supplements, homeopathy, guided nutrition and lifestyle counseling.

 

Dr. Kaz has been trained in disease reduction programs such as First Line Therapy and trained under Dr. D’Adamo for two years focusing on the blood type diet and nutrigenomics. 

 

Dr. Kaz believes that the body has the ability to heal itself given the right tools and she helps guide patients to stop managing symptoms and start treating the underlying causes of illness. 

 

Dr. Kaz also enjoys teaching the community about living a healthy lifestyle and lectures regularly in Rhode Island, writes articles for the Natural Awakenings magazine and has been voted as the Top Naturopathic Doctor in RI from 2020 to 2024.

 

In her personal time, Dr. Kaz enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring the beauty of Rhode Island and traveling the world!

Noelle Cardarelli, ND, DAc

Dr. Noelle Cardarelli is a licensed naturopathic physician in Rhode Island and is originally from the neighboring state of Massachusetts. She completed her education at the University of Bridgeport where she received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture. Previous to this, she graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. Dr. Cardarelli has been published in the local magazine, Natural Awakenings and has lectured at several community events.   

She is passionate about the natural intelligence of the physical and emotional body and the inherent connection between the two. She utilizes a variety of modalities including nutrition, vitamins and herb to treat her patients holistically. Her approach is one of disease prevention and restoring balance to the body. She is a firm believer in an integrative approach to health and wellness and believes that patients should be educated on their own health conditions and available options for treatment. She believes that both conventional and alternative approaches have a place in medicine. She is data driven, relies heavily on clinical research, lab testing and treatment outcomes. 


Dr. Cardarelli is an expert in Lyme disease and has a specific interest in treating patients with hormonal, metabolic, gastrointestinal, and inflammatory conditions. Patients that fit best with Dr. Cardarelli are motivated, curious, and lighthearted. In her free time, you can find Dr. Cardarelli at a local thrift store, music venue, traveling, and creating art. Family and community is very important to Dr. Cardarelli so much of her time is spent with family and loved ones, especially her wife and dog.  


Dr. Brenda Bithoney, ND

Dr. Brenda Bithoney (Dr. B) is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts (her home state). She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Bridgeport receiving her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to medical school, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from UMass Boston. Dr. B also has several years of experience working as a chef.


Dr. B utilizes the natural therapies she was taught in medical school along with her knowledge of culinary arts to guide and teach her patients how to promote optimal health and wellness. Dr. B believes everyone should have an active role in their health and she encourages patient education. To support patients, Dr. B uses botanical medicine, supplements, therapeutic nutrition, homeopathy, and physical medicine. 


Her areas of interest include women’s health (hormone imbalances, endometriosis, irregular menstrual cycles, etc.), digestive conditions and pain management. Dr. B is an expert in naturopathic physical medicine (which includes manipulation of joints and tissues, massage, trigger point therapy and stretching) to help with many disorders including TMJ dysfunction, headaches, chronic and acute joint and muscle pain. 


In her free time, Dr. B enjoys cooking with her boyfriend (who is also a chef), reading, spending time at the beach, and learning about plants.
